Members and guests who plan to attend Reunion 2008 in Tucson may register at this time. Information to register is as follows:

At the time of registering, you should ask for smoking or non-smoking room preferences as well as king or 2 queen bed preference. Special need requirements should also be given at the time of registration. Final date for registration is September 24, 2008.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Cancellation requires a 48 hour notice prior to your arrival date otherwise a $55 service fee will be charged.

I’d also like to make a brief comment regarding the room rates that were negotiated on our behalf by Armed Forces Reunions. The hotel provides the following as part of your room rate:

Reunion Dinner Hall
Reunion Meeting Room (with complimentary coffee)
Reunion Hospitality Room
Reunion Audio Visual Needs

We also pay a commission to Armed Forces Reunions who provides registration packets, name tags, reunion programs and handle the registration desk. In addition, they assist with the program planning and schedule activities. In the past, this tedious job was handled gratis by Brigitte and JR without commission.

We should have available by mid-March the welcome dinner and banquet menu selections as well as activities which will be available. As mentioned previously, the 2008 Reunion WILL NOT be all inclusive. Attendees will have the option of participating in activities of their choosing to fit within their budgets and interests.
